Cervix High And Soft Before Periods

Los Mockers - Complete Recordings (1966-67)

If a country had emerged in English-speaking maybe his name would be now among the greats who competed in the 60 `s. At least, it is possible that his story had had more continuity, rather than being truncated at its best. But Los Mockers were Uruguayans, and during the short life of the group did not reach beyond the River Plate. Long forgotten, from the 80's have been published on both sides of the Atlantic several partial reprints of their discography and recent topics have included yours in contemporary movies. (25 watts for example). Other similar groups have emerged in Europe / America, but this is the first time the complete collection of all songs recorded by the original Mockers 60s.

The original lp Mockers was recorded in a few sessions of one or two songs per day, spread over 1966. It was an era of rapid change in the music scene, and between one session and another group also evolved rapidly. In this compilation presents the Lp in original order, the first 2 songs are more developed under the end of this period.

This collection would not be complete without the theme of "confusion" and "captain gray", published in a single very rare in early 1968. Like many groups of the late 60s the Mockers could not resist the fascination of incorporating orchestral instruments. Had traveled and experienced a long way from the basic R & B of its inception. Also included in this compilation as an extra gem, a demo recorded in 1965 at a radio station in Montevideo, which led to the signing of the group when they were still called "The Chains" (later I'll upload a few demos but maybe). Well, yes, but the sound quality is not comparable to the sublime recordings later, the strength of the group and is remarkable in the incendiary and burning version of Willie Dixon "I just want to make love to you". In order to listen to and enjoy, believe me, they will not regret it. This disc is not wasted.
