The Outsiders - Time won`t let me (1966)

Several bands in the sixties Outsiders took the name as their own. In this case is the American band, originally from Ohio formed in 1964 as a settling whatever's former band The Starfires.
The group had endless formations that were mutated from the beginning until they disbanded in 1968, but always stood out Tom King on guitar and vocals and Sonny Geraci on the banners of the band.
"Time won` t let me "is the first album the band forged their sound image of the British Invasion introduction but with touches of soul and winds, making de su musica algo completamente nuevo para la epoca.
El disco funciona de maravillas, utilizando algunos covers para llenar los vacios que originaba la ausencia de originales.
My Girl, Rockin Robin, Keep on Running, Listen People, son interpretados con destreza y profesionalismo por estos aùn inmaduros muchachos.
Pero todos los laureles se los lleva el Megaclasico "Time won`t let me", que llegò al puesto nùmero 5 del Billboard y es una maravilla con vida propia, con sus coros, sus vientos, su solo de guitarra y la destreza vocal de Sonny que calza como anillo al dedo.
