Vincent Fournier was born in the U.S. in 1948. By 1964 he was ready to form his first band. The Talent Show that supported David Letterman served as motivation to bring together classmates and hone their intumentos.
initially called The Earwigs, but after winning the contest was renamed The Spiders and started taking the race seriously of musicians.
The band was led by Fournier on vocals, guitar Glen Buxton and Dennis Dunaway on bass.
Their music was inspired by great musicians of the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Beatles.
In 1965 they recorded the first single "Why Do not You Love Me" a cover of The Blackwells, which went completely unnoticed by the press.
This disc includes the item, the Marvin Gaye classic "Hitch Hike," and two rarities full of fuzz.
